Job Title: Billing Rate Clerk

We are seeking a skilled Billing Rate Clerk to join our team at Transport Rolland Menard inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling transportation conveyances, preparing bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents, inspecting and verifying incoming goods against invoices or other documents, overseeing loading and unloading of goods, and ensuring the safe handling of heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Schedule transportation conveyances and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
  • Inventory Management: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee loading and unloading of goods and ensure safe handling of heavy loads.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: French.
  • Computer Skills: Database software.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Dollies and hand trucks, pallet lifters.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, initiative, organized, reliability, team player.
