Job Title: Supportability and Reliability Analyst

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Supportability and Reliability Analyst to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. As a key member of our logistics support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of supply support data for our AOPS and JSS programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review vendor documentation to identify supply support requirements and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the LCMM team to determine required spares and quantities, reviewing technical publications and usage data, and interacting with Thales engineering, procurement, and service delivery personnel.
  • Process and maintain Material Requirements Planning entitlements for all storerooms.
  • Support the LCMM team and Service Delivery in identifying maintenance or spares required to support Short Work Periods or Docking work Periods.
  • Assist Engineering personnel with the development of Engineering Change proposals related to materials and material management.
  • Address spares queries and material-based problem reports in a timely manner for AJISS Enterprise stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • An Engineering degree or two-year diploma from a recognized university or college (mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, reliability naval engineering, or logistics) or certified as one of the following technical trades of the CAF: Marine Technician RQ-PO2, Weapons Engineer Technician RQ-PO2, Legacy QL 6A Marine Engineer, Legacy QL 6A Marine Electrician, Legacy QL 6A Hull Technician, Legacy QL 6A Naval Electronics Technician, or Legacy QL 6A Naval Weapons Technician.
  • Five years or more experience within the last 10 years conducting Logistics Support Analysis in maintenance and supply support of complex systems or equipment.
