Director, Business Analytics Lead

At Sun Life Financial, we're seeking a highly skilled Director, Business Analytics Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for leading the development, management, and delivery of analytics business support to our Group Benefits business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage analytics business support to Group Benefits business teams.
  2. Collaborate with analytics resources in all relevant technical teams to support delivery of initiatives.
  3. Manage the key initiative budget for data ingestion, resourced through IT.
  4. Embed best-practices aligned to the Client Experience Office and Centres of Excellence.

Requirements:

  1. 7+ years of analytical experience with 3+ years of recent experience in business analytics/BI and/or developing and implementing data science techniques.
  2. B.Sc. Computer Science, Mathematics, Stats, Engineering, and Masters in Management Analytics or MBA or equivalent work experience.
  3. 3+ years of leading a data analytics team, or equivalent experience as a senior member of a team leading projects and providing managerial support.
  4. Expert knowledge and experience in data analytics and application in business strategy for effective decision making.
  5. Demonstrate drive for, and application of, continuous learning on innovations in advanced analytics and industry developments.

Salary Range: 105,000 - 180,000
