Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be the primary contact for maintenance, repair, and mechanical service on cold drink equipment for various stores throughout our region.
The details:
Salary: $29.67/hr
Schedule: This is a Full-time position, shift - 12PM - 8:30PM + on call until 11PM
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including collective insurance and pension plan, as per the collective bargaining agreement.
A company van will be provided for your convenience.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field to ensure proper operating condition
- Perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment, including preventative maintenance
- Ensure the vehicle has adequate levels of parts inventory by practicing Kaizen initiatives, including ordering new supplies, performing bi-annual inventory audits, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication
- Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Consistently bend, kneel, and lift 50+ pounds
- Refrigeration or HVAC trade or vocational certification is preferred
- HVAC certification is preferred
- High school diploma or GED is required
- General technical experience is preferred
- Refrigeration/HVAC experience is preferred
- Plumbing and/or electro/mechanical experience is preferred
- Prior diagnostic troubleshooting is an asset
- Demonstrated mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license and a driving record free from any violations for the past 3 years
- Ability to consistently bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
