About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at 18 WHEELS LOGISTICS LIMITED PARTNERSHIP. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Compile and process orders received from customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Task Organization: Prioritize and organize tasks to achieve work objectives, maximizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement operational logistics plans, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Work Order Tracking: Monitor and complete work orders, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • Warehouse Management: Organize and maintain warehouse and work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Shipments and Dispatch: Coordinate shipments, ensuring compliance with cross-border regulations and practices.
  • Technology and Software: Utilize dispatch management service software, database software, and other tools to support logistics operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work independently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
