We are currently looking for a dedicated and proficient Technical Equipment & Parts Representative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine the correct components by collaborating closely with clients to assess their unique needs and specifications.
- Create unit-specific parts kits to enhance maintenance and repair workflows for our clients.
- Oversee customer inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure timely access to parts.
- Work with clients and sales teams to recommend replacement units for outdated equipment or propose factory options for upgrades and material modifications to existing units.
- Guide clients and service teams on the scope of work for various types of equipment and offer advice on maintenance-related specifications.
- Ensure precise documentation of parts usage, inventory levels, and client interactions utilizing appropriate software and systems.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Serve as a technical resource for clients, offering support and advice on equipment-related inquiries and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Experience with CAD is advantageous.
- Mechanically inclined with a solid understanding of machinery and equipment functionality.
- Prior experience in a shop or parts fulfillment environment.
- Strong technical aptitude with the capability to comprehend complex equipment and parts specifications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, sales teams, and internal departments.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Capacity to handle sensitive information and maintain the highest level of confidentiality with tact, diplomacy, and integrity.
