Join Our Team as a Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of assigned projects. Your leadership will ensure that project performance aligns with our standards for cost, schedule, quality, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the establishment of Preconstruction in Progress (PIP) forms, key performance indicators (KPIs), and monthly updates.
  • Collaborate with local authorities to secure necessary permits for construction.
  • Work alongside team members to identify and implement effective project delivery strategies.
  • Manage price change orders, track requests for information, and coordinate approvals of shop drawings.
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost reports during the construction phase.
  • Ensure alignment of the weekly master project schedule with Superintendent look-ahead plans.
  • Support the development of billing schedules and execute invoicing processes.
  • Oversee subcontract management, including monitoring notifications and value adjustments.
  • Assist in managing payments, resolving disputes, and evaluating subcontractor performance.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to project closeout activities, including final reports and outstanding charges.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering or construction management.
  • Eligibility for or possession of E.I.T., P. Eng., CET, or PQS designations.
  • Experience in institutional and commercial construction.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in project management of large industrial projects.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving results.
  • Competence in safety, workforce management, project execution, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Familiarity with Viewpoint Project Management systems is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
