Environmental Laboratory Sample Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Laboratory Sample Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Bureau Veritas Laboratories. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of samples through our laboratory, from receipt to analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory staff, ensuring that samples are processed and analyzed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve laboratory efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that laboratory operations are aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on laboratory performance metrics, including sample turnaround times, accuracy, and quality.
- Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff on laboratory procedures, policies, and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and laboratory accreditation standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as laboratory science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
