About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Cedhar Gestion inc. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry and replace linens, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Portion and wrap foods, maintaining accurate portion control and presentation.
  • Restock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
  • Operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, following safety protocols.
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, ensuring a clean and safe workspace.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, maintaining accurate portion control and presentation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to work under pressure. You will be standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

English or French.

Work Term
