This state-of-the-art facility is recognized both nationally and internationally for its specialized mental health and brain injury treatment. Unlike a conventional hospital, the Centre focuses on providing tailored care and treatment for mental health and brain injury patients. The multidisciplinary team at the Centre is dedicated to delivering integrated care that ensures optimal outcomes for patients and their families.

Role Overview:

As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), you will take on a leadership role by delivering a comprehensive range of nursing services aimed at promoting, maintaining, or restoring health and mental well-being while preventing mental illness, injury, and disability. Your responsibilities will include teaching, counseling, and advocating for patients, ensuring their safety and overall well-being. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care that aligns with the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services.

Compensation:

Provisional Permit Holders will receive a salary ranging from $35.87/hour to $43.82/hour. Upon registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, your pay will be adjusted according to the applicable rate as outlined in the relevant agreements.

Minimum Salary: $39.21
Maximum Salary: $51.46

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
