About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our team at Renfrew Educational Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of our students and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to promote positive outcomes.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners to enhance our services and support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research.
Programs and Services

As a Registered Psychologist at Renfrew Educational Services, you will have the opportunity to work across various programs and services, including:

  • Assessment and Therapy Services: Providing comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions to support students with diverse needs.
  • Community Services: Collaborating with schools and community partners to provide consultation, professional development, and direct intervention services.
  • Nations: Providing assessment services, school-based counseling, and group support activities to support students and their families.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology and current registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
  • Experience working with children and youth with diverse needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
