About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our team at Renfrew Educational Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and therapeutic needs of youth and children with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide counseling services to youth and children, addressing a range of needs including social-emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
  • Work closely with parents, caregivers, and educators to develop strategies and provide support, promoting a collaborative and inclusive approach to education.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of psychology and education.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, with current registration and good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
  • Experience working with youth and children with special needs, with a focus on trauma-informed practice and evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including parents, caregivers, educators, and community partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the changing needs of our clients and community.
  • Valid Alberta Driver's License and reliable vehicle, with a clean driving record and adequate insurance coverage.
