Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at ExxonMobil Corporation. As an Environmental Sustainability Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving environmental objectives and initiatives forward, ensuring compliance with corporate, site, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective environmental strategies to minimize the company's environmental footprint.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive environmental objectives and initiatives forward.
- Provide environmental stewardship to site management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in environmental risk assessments to support capital project development and site management of change activities.
- Develop and manage programs to meet environmental and regulatory requirements and objectives.
- Support communication with regulatory bodies and stakeholders, ensuring effective engagement and compliance.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of previous environmental and regulatory support or advisory experience.
- Knowledge of federal and provincial environmental regulations applicable to industry in Ontario.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Ability to critically evaluate situations and apply sound judgment to develop recommendations.
- Commitment to safety on and off the job.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented individual.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Fluency in French is an asset.
