Role Overview

Your Responsibilities:

  • As a hands-on Pastry Cook, you will set the standard for quality and consistency in all pastry offerings.
  • You will ensure that all desserts meet the high standards established by the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
  • Maintaining precise records of all pastry ingredients will be part of your daily tasks.
  • You will meticulously document recipes, track costs, and update them regularly.
  • With a keen eye for detail, you will identify and resolve any operational issues promptly.
  • Adhering to health, safety, and cleanliness standards will be a priority, and you will address any deficiencies.
  • You will handle special requests and guest allergies professionally to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years of progressive experience in a pastry role.
  • Familiarity with current trends in presentation and preparation.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.
  • A culinary degree or diploma is an asset.
