Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our Subway team at Dalhousie University as a Subway Sandwich Artist. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive high-quality, courteous service, and respond promptly to their needs.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food to customers, including baking and toasting bread, and maintaining food stations.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surrounding areas.
  • Inventory Management: Restock shelves, refrigerators, and prep stations with food and supplies.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in the food service industry, with experience working at Subway considered an asset.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts.
