Senior Supplier Performance Lead

Job Summary:

Magna International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to lead our supplier performance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for executing best practices and measuring performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based upon the division's Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Supply Chain Management Team: Direct and coordinate supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction and Company goals.
  • Supplier Management: Ensure Suppliers conduct their activities according to the Magna Global Supply Chain Requirements.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Support all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary direct materials and services needed to meet the changing levels of production demand.
  • Inventory Management: Oversees and optimizes inventory within the supply chain to reduce carrying costs.
  • Risk Management: Proactively monitors and manages risks in the supply chain.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with Logistics and Purchasing departments to minimize Total Delivered Cost.
  • Compliance: Leads team to ensure compliance to Magna's world-class manufacturing and quality standards within functional area and throughout the supply base.
  • Supplier Development: Monitor and develop suppliers (potential, new, and current suppliers) for cost, quality, delivery to meet the Company's requirements.
  • Supplier Audits: Ensure that supplier-related audits and assessments are current.
  • SAP and Supply Chain Systems: Ensure suppliers are set up to comply with SAP, Supply web, eRFX, and QPF.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide management reports as necessary.
  • Health and Safety: Comply and participate in monthly Health & Safety Quiz.
  • Continuous Improvement: Comply and participate with suggestions and Continuous Improvement program.
  • Common Values: Actively and positively support the continued practice of Common Values behaviors.
  • Change Management: Initiate and embrace company change.
  • Safe Working Conditions: Observe standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
