About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Sushi California. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including sushi and other Japanese cuisine
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to the highest standards
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
