Position Overview

Demostat Services is seeking a dedicated Accounting Bookkeeper to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for employee payroll.
  • Asset Management: Assess fixed assets and their depreciation.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries accurately.
  • Statistical Reporting: Generate other statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations.
  • Trial Balance: Prepare trial balances of books.
