Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at CANUS ADVISORS LTD. as a permanent full-time employee.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare various financial and accounting reports, including trial balance, to support business decision-making.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
