Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Inspector to join our team at Bridge Check Canada LTD. As a Bridge Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of bridges and other infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Inspect construction of bridges and other infrastructure to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential defects and hazards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, architecture, construction management).
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of weather conditions.
