Nurse Specialist in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Care

At SE Health, we're committed to delivering exceptional care to our clients. As a NSWOC Nurse Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing holistic assessment and management to individuals with ostomies, acute and chronic wounds, and urinary and fecal continence concerns.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive assessments of clients with wound, ostomy, and continence-related concerns
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team
- Provide education and mentorship to build wound, ostomy, and continence knowledge and capacity within SE Health
- Consult with care providers to optimize client outcomes
- Facilitate the dissemination of wound, ostomy, and continence knowledge
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to reduce duplication of services and client anxiety
- Completion of the Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) WOC-EP program
- Current and active membership in NSWOC Canada (preferred)
- Current RN certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Flexibility and commitment to advancing wound, ostomy, and continence care at SE Health
- Willingness to participate in further education programs/courses to remain current
