The role of the Electro & Mechanical (E&M) Interface Engineer is crucial in defining and managing project interfaces between Subsystems. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to learn new techniques in a changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review design packages in liaison with E&M subsystems.
  • Identify System Interfaces and create interface registers.
  • Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and propose leaders for interfaces.
  • Ensure interface consistency and completeness by reviewing designs and participating in requirements management.
  • Manage detailed interfaces definition relevant to 3rd Parties.
  • Identify risks, scope gaps, and grey areas and escalate as needed.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Engineering.
  • Preferred to be Licensed with Professional Engineers of Ontario (P.Eng.) or in progress.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Interface Engineering.
  • Field experience and a good knowledge of railway systems.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of the rail construction environment and engineering practices.
