Are you a seasoned Licensed Professional Architect seeking a new challenge? The Infrastructure Management division within the Government of Nova Scotia is on the lookout for a Senior Architect with at least eight years of professional experience. As an integral part of the Technical Services team, you will guide a group of Engineers and Technologists in facilitating construction, repair, and maintenance initiatives throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to contribute to the Capital Planning framework
  • Evaluate current infrastructure and formulate project outlines
  • Work alongside various disciplines on project design and implementation
  • Offer technical guidance and construction management support
  • Promote the establishment of corporate standards for future projects

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Architect with the NSAA or eligibility for licensure
  • At least 8 years of experience in architectural design
  • Comprehensive understanding of building regulations and design standards
  • Proven experience in supervising personnel and managing project finances
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
