About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Innovation Director to join our team at Great Connections Employment Services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the formulation team to develop innovative solutions in the areas of makeup formulation and technology platforms establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Align and engage the team in the vision by providing clarity to each team member on their role in achieving the vision, strategy, and goals.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient and up-to-date in technical fields related to color makeup, especially anhydrous systems, translating consumer insights into creative and stable formulations.
  • Project Management: Lead and deliver large or complex projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and calendar.
  • Strategic Planning: Identify short- and mid-term business strategy and develop an innovation pipeline for business and organization.
  • Talent Development: Build organizational talent and capability, ensuring compliance and effective administration of the team.
Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate degree required; MBA and/or advanced scientific degree (i.e., Master's, PhD) strongly preferred.
  • Experience: At minimum, 8 years of R&D development experience, with direct and/or indirect product development experience, particularly in roles or assignments aimed at advancing and optimizing formulation/product portfolios, development processes, and methods.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
