High Cliff Partners Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Governance Specialist to join their organization on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the execution of all master data governance activities across four major regions who operate on an SAP ERP platform: Canada, USA, Argentina, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the accuracy, security, and consistency of our master data assets.
  • Define roles and responsibilities related to master data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company's global master data.
  • Create data catalogs, metadata management, and data lineage documentation.
  • Design, implement, and perform data quality controls to ensure data is accurate and reliable.
  • Design and implement enhancements to Master Data Governance tools.
  • Design and implement new BI capabilities for analyzing Master Data.
  • Establish data classification and access control mechanisms.
  • Conduct governance training programs and awareness for employees.
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement master data governance in new technologies e.g. Microsoft Data Lake / Purview / AI.
  • Contribute to the definition of indicators of performance (KPIs) and quality metrics and monitoring compliance with standards and policies.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations related to data governance.
  • French and/or Spanish language skills can be an asset.
  • Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry is an asset.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in master data governance, master data management, or related.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Master Data (e.g. Material, Vendor, Customer and GL).
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data profiling, and data quality assessment.
  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., SAP MDG, SAP Data Services, Info-Steward, Collibra, Informatica, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
  • Able to operate in a complex, fast-paced environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business functions, geographies, time zones, & language.
  • Ability to work independently ensuring alignment to our IT strategy.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in information management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
