High Cliff Partners Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Governance Senior Manager to join our organization on a permanent full-time basis.

About the Role:

  • Oversee the execution of all master data governance activities across four major regions who operate on an SAP ERP platform: Canada, USA, Argentina, and Australia.
  • Lead a team, setting and reviewing annual goals, assigning project responsibilities, coaching performance and supporting growth, and creating the conditions for a positive, high-performing team to thrive.
  • Establish and govern an enterprise master data governance implementation roadmap.
  • Define and roll out an enterprise-wide master data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data.
  • Define roles and responsibilities related to master data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company's global master data.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of master data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise.
  • Define indicators of performance (KPIs) and quality metrics and monitor compliance with standards and policies.
  • Establish and perform data quality controls to ensure data is accurate and reliable.
  • Establish governance training programs and awareness for employees.
  • Lead the global Master Data Governance council and other data governance committees and work groups (e.g. Operations, BI, etc.).
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations related to data governance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement master data governance in new technologies (e.g., Microsoft Data Lake / Purview / AI).
  • Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry is strongly preferred.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in master data governance, master data management, or related roles.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Master Data (e.g. Material, Vendor, Customer and GL).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience managing and coaching a team.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data profiling, and data quality assessment.
  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., SAP MDG, SAP Data Services, Info-Steward, Collibra, Informatica, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
  • Able to operate in a complex, fast-paced environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business functions, geographies, time zones, & language.
  • Ability to work independently ensuring alignment to our IT strategy.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in information management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
