About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Marine Welder Specialist to join our team at Avantis Marine North America Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks, including fabricating and repairing metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding Operations: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Material Handling: Handle heavy loads and work in confined spaces.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Various locations, including marine settings.
