Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to lead our kitchen team. As an Ethnic Food Specialist, you will be responsible for planning menus, preparing and cooking meals, and ensuring the highest quality of food service. You will also be involved in training staff, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high culinary standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Culture and Diversity: Participate in initiatives that promote cultural awareness and diversity, creating a welcoming work environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Culinary Skills: Proficiency in preparing and cooking Vietnamese cuisine.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management.
