About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our Italian-Canadian cuisine and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and present high-quality dishes.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain high standards of food safety and quality by adhering to our company's policies and procedures.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Language: English.
