Job Summary

As a Class 1 Driver – Equipment Delivery Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of a diverse range of equipment, tools, and supplies to customer job sites. Your responsibilities will encompass driving flatbed or rollback trucks across various terrains, including urban, suburban, and rural areas. The ability to navigate tight spaces, such as construction zones, is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a Class 1 truck to transport equipment and materials to customer locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
  • Load and unload equipment securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability.
  • Navigate efficiently through various road conditions and traffic patterns.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience operating commercial trucks is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of towing equipment (up to 20,000 lbs) is an asset.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
