Position Overview
Sunbelt Rentals, a leader in the equipment rental industry in Canada, is on the lookout for a Class 1 Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery and retrieval of various tools, equipment, and supplies to customer job sites.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will operate a flatbed or roll-back truck under diverse conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural environments. The ability to navigate safely in confined spaces, such as construction zones, is essential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A valid Class 1 Driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Skills and Competencies:
- Previous experience with similar commercial vehicles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with towing equipment (e.g., film equipment, generators) up to 20,000 lbs is preferred.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as moving, securing, installing, building, loading, or unloading equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and conduct minor repairs on equipment and vehicles at job sites.
- A strong customer service orientation.

Physical Requirements:
