Position Overview
Sunbelt Rentals, a leader in the rental industry, is in search of a Class 1 Truck Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and retrieving a diverse range of equipment, tools, and supplies to various customer locations.
As a Class 1 Truck Operator, you will navigate a flatbed or roll-back vehicle across different terrains, including urban, suburban, and rural environments. The ability to maneuver safely in confined spaces, such as construction sites, is essential.
Qualifications for Success:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A valid Class 1 Driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience with commercial vehicles is preferred.
- Familiarity with towing equipment (such as film gear, generators, etc.) up to 20,000 lbs is advantageous.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as moving, securing, installing, and loading/unloading equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and conduct minor repairs on equipment and vehicles at job sites.
- A strong customer service orientation.

Physical Requirements:
