Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Days Inn & Suites Sault Ste Marie. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food service operations.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on food service operations and performance.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Work Environment and Conditions
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet food service demands.
- Personal Suitability
- Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and management.
- Show flexibility to adapt to changing food service demands and priorities.
