We are currently in search of a Transfer Pricing Manager to enhance our tax practice in either Toronto or Vancouver. We seek an individual dedicated to a career in taxation, eager to take a leadership role in managing tax engagements and contributing to the growth of both the firm and our clients.

Our tax practice provides the opportunity to engage in various tax and succession planning areas, including estate & trust compliance, personal and corporate tax planning, business transactions, estate planning, and cross-border investment and compliance. We welcome candidates with experience in any of these domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Transfer Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate transfer pricing policies that align with the firm's objectives, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. Analyze intercompany transactions, recommending suitable pricing structures and methodologies. Provide insights on transfer pricing implications related to strategic initiatives, such as restructurings and acquisitions. Transfer Pricing Compliance: Supervise the preparation of transfer pricing documentation to guarantee compliance with regulations. Stay informed on transfer pricing regulations, implementing necessary updates in policies and documentation. Assist clients in addressing transfer pricing inquiries and audits from tax authorities. Intercompany Transactions: Evaluate the arm's length nature of intercompany transactions, including tangible goods, services, and financing arrangements. Conduct benchmarking analyses and economic studies to support pricing decisions. Collaborate with clients to develop precise intercompany agreements that reflect transaction terms and conditions. Risk Management: Identify transfer pricing risks associated with intercompany transactions and propose strategies for mitigation. Assist in implementing advance pricing agreements (APAs) and other dispute resolution mechanisms to minimize risks. Provide guidance on transfer pricing best practices and risk mitigation strategies to clients. Client Advisory: Support multinational clients in transfer pricing matters, working alongside cross-functional teams. Clearly communicate transfer pricing concepts and recommendations to clients in a tailored manner. Assist in integrating transfer pricing solutions into clients' global tax planning efforts.
