Unlock Your Potential as a Global Programming Specialist

Join Talent Development as a Global Programming Specialist and play a key role in launching and developing innovative event formats that drive sponsorship and attendee revenue. As a member of our global team, you will report to our Senior Director, Global and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and commercially viable events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and develop relevant event themes and topics.
  • Develop and launch new event formats that meet the needs of sponsors and attendees.
  • Manage speaker acquisition and relationships from initial outreach to contract negotiation.
  • Negotiate speakers' fees, travel arrangements, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with event partners for regular updates on agenda development and speaker acquisitions.
  • Ensure all program updates are reflected in real-time on event websites.
  • Meet with speakers pre-event to confirm time slots and align on content.
  • Oversee speaker promotional activities, including videos and webinars.
  • Manage logistics related to speaker expenses and travel arrangements.

About You:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in conference production.
  • Experience in global programming and conference production, with a preference for experience in the Middle East market.
  • Strong research capabilities to identify industry trends and develop relevant conference themes and tracks.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and industry experts.
  • Proven expertise in speaker acquisition, content development, and event execution.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • High standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Creative thinker with a strong focus on achieving business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Talent Development is a hybrid organization headquartered in Alexandria, VA. *Please note, this is a hybrid position. In-office time is required.*
