We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Design Specialist to join our Planning and Allocation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing instruction-led, virtual, or e-Learning solutions that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct needs analysis and identify risks to project goals, providing project updates to leads and teams.
- Design new program templates, including workbooks, leader guides, interactive PDFs, and videos, to enhance the learning experience.
- Review training program delivery methods and products, assessing and making recommendations for improvements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for design principles and concepts, researching evidence-based learning theories and applying best practices in program design and evaluation.
- Deliver in-person training, utilizing effective classroom management and facilitation techniques.
- Maintain current training materials to reflect evolving business needs, including updating or creating materials based on technology updates and impacts.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to provide content and insight for the development of learning assets.
- Partner globally to discuss new and existing training programs, identify common skill gaps, and support the development continuum.
- Minimum two years of TJX Canada Planning and Allocation knowledge and experience, or minimum three years in Instructional Design.
- Adult Learning or Instructional Design certificate or program completion considered an asset.
- Articulate (Storyline and RISE) experience considered an asset.
- Experience with graphics design software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) considered an asset.
- Strong demonstrated facilitation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, skilled at building relationships with varied levels of management and associates.
- Ability to influence action and obtain or provide information effectively and tactfully.
- Issue management skills, including interpersonal skills, time management, decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $58,910 to $82,472 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits, retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement.
