Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Co-op Student Experience Manager. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and contribute to the success of the University of Waterloo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance co-op student engagement and success
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate co-op experiences into academic programs
  • Provide coaching and guidance to students to support their career development and job readiness
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners to promote co-op opportunities
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of co-op programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • University undergraduate degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with students in an advisory capacity
  • Experience managing and coaching student teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a post-secondary setting
  • Knowledge of co-op education and work-integrated learning
  • Experience with program development and implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
