About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Shady Tree Neighbourhood Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly sanitized and stored, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for service
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Willing to relocate
  • Experience an asset
  • Permanent position, 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
