POSITION SUMMARY

The CNC Process Engineer at Almag Aluminum is essential in the design, management, and enhancement of CNC production workflows. The successful candidate will collaborate with both sales and production departments to facilitate new business opportunities through process enhancements and analytical insights.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in CNC programming, fixture design, process enhancement, and CNC cost estimation
  • Proficient in Mastercam, Edgecam, and Key Creator software
  • Familiarity with diverse fabrication techniques and lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience with aluminum extrusion processes and Six Sigma practices

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical qualification
  • Certification in Six Sigma, project management, and CNC operations
  • Ability to interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings

Technical Skills

  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Self-driven with demonstrated project management and analytical skills
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team setting and managing supplier relationships

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create CNC programs, design fixtures, and select tooling for new initiatives
  • Enhance production methodologies and equipment efficiency
  • Evaluate production metrics and yields for optimization
  • Perform testing and validate process parameters
