Job Summary

The Manufacturing Specialist will work closely with our production team to oversee the fabrication and assembly of metal parts and products. This includes:

  • Interpreting welding process specifications and operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment;
  • Examining welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications;
  • Maintaining and performing minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment;

Responsibilities also include working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have strong physical abilities and attention to detail.

Requirements

To be successful as a Manufacturing Specialist, you will require:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or related field;
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience;
  • Strong physical abilities, including manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs);
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, group insurance benefits, life insurance, and a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP). This is a permanent position with 42.5 hours worked per week.
