Niijaansinaanik Child and Family Services is a culture-based organization that provides prevention, protection, and child and family services that reflect the values, beliefs, and principles of the Anishinabek culture.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Services Supervisor - Alternative Care to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front-line staff and providing direction, coaching, and clinical supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support front-line staff in the delivery of alternative care services
  • Provide direction, coaching, and clinical supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
  • Ensure that services are delivered in accordance with the Agency's strategic planning, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to service delivery

Requirements:

  • Master of Social Work degree or equivalent experience
  • Five years' experience working with children and families involved in child welfare protection
  • Three years' experience in a management and administration role in a child welfare protection or social service agency
  • Knowledge of Anishinabek culture, traditions, and the Seven Grandfather Teachings
  • Knowledge of relevant legislative framework and policies reflecting current child welfare practice
