Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate After-Hours Service Worker to join our team. As a crisis responder, you will provide after-hours and weekend crisis services, respond to allegations of child maltreatment, and provide immediate protective services when required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide after-hours and weekend crisis services
- Respond to allegations of child maltreatment
- Provide immediate protective services when required
- Defuse crises and stabilize events outside of regular Agency hours
- $90.56 - $ weekday rate) ON-CALL
- $ $ Saturday and Sunday rate) ON-CALL
- $ $62.23 (hourly rate) CALL OUT

- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Bachelor of Social Work degree is preferred and/or Community College Diploma in Social Services will be considered
- Two (2) years' direct experience in a social services agency
- Knowledge of Niijaansinaanik Child and Family Services programs and services
- Respect for sensitivity towards as well as knowledge and understanding of Anishinabek culture, traditions and the Seven Grandfather teachings
- Knowledge of the First Nation service delivery, customs and traditions in responding to child welfare
- Knowledge of traditional practices, ceremonies and teachings
- Must provide a clear Police Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must have a Class 'G' Ontario Driver's License, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel
- Must have $1M automobile insurance
- Must provide a three-year uncertified drivers abstract
