Job Title: Chief Information Officer

About the Role:
Our client, a leading steel-based manufacturing company, is seeking a seasoned Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead their IT strategy and operations. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive IT plan that aligns with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute IT strategies that drive business value and support digital transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Manage the IT department budget and resource allocation to ensure effective and efficient delivery of IT services.
  • Ensure the organization's IT systems and data are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage vendor relationships.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience handling a cyber attack and familiarity with CMMC.
