Position: Bakery/Deli Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months.

Work Schedule: Availability required on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute as a team member while promoting Co-op memberships and associated benefits.
  • Familiarize and comply with Federated Co-operatives Limited policies and procedures.
  • Support store management in organizing, directing, and coordinating the department to meet financial objectives.
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and displaying of merchandise.
  • Ensure timely processing of paperwork and assist in the leadership of team members within the department.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and aid in minimizing theft and loss.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience in retail is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting may be necessary.
