Position Details

Position: Bakery/Deli Supervisor
Full-time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities
  1. Be a productive team member while promoting Co-op memberships and benefits.
  2. Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures.
  3. Assist store management in the organization, direction, and coordination of the department to achieve budgeted goals.
  4. Order, receive, and display merchandise.
  5. Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner and assist with the management/leadership of team members within the department.
  6. Provide outstanding customer service and assist in reducing theft and loss.
  7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
  1. Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  3. Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changes.
  4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  5. Previous retail experience is an asset.
  6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required.
