Sub-System Manager

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Sub-System Manager to join our team in La Pocatiere, QC, Canada. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering cross-functional activities to ensure the successful completion of a project sub-system.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage cross-functional sub-system level stakeholders, activities, and deliverables, making necessary arbitration to meet QCDP commitments.
- Coordinate sub-system activities with other project stakeholders, including integration teams, other sub-systems, and project-level functions.
- Contribute to successful project execution on allocated sub-system scope of work, applying project strategy according to defined contractual and project commitments and targets.
- Actively contribute to project performance, alerting in case of deviations impacting project objectives and actively contributing to risks and opportunity management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable rules, instructions, and standards, process & tools: Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, Sourcing, PMM.
- A Master degree or bachelor degree.
- IPMA level D (or equivalent).
- 2 years experience as manager of an operational scope.
- Experience of working in and with multi-national companies and in different business cultures.
- Desirably knowledgeable of ALSTOM way of working for efficient process execution.
- Global knowledge on the sub-system.
- Coordination skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Project management processes.
- Capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-metier teams.
- You are Result oriented.
