**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Segula Technologies. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform regular quality inspections to ensure that our products meet the required standards.
- Visual Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of mechanical and electrical work to identify any defects or non-conformities.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of inspections, including documentation of non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Root Cause Analysis: Analyze the root cause of defects and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Compliance: Verify that all sub-assemblies meet contractual and internal requirements.
- Quality Data Management: Record inspection results in digital industrial systems.
- Quality Documentation: Ensure that all quality documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Client Inspections: Participate in joint inspections with clients to ensure that our products meet their requirements.
- Equipment Calibration: Verify that all equipment and instruments used for inspections are calibrated correctly.
- Post-Audit: Conduct post-audit inspections in production areas.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field.
- Experience: More than 4 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Ability to read drawings and specifications, and familiarity with various testing equipment.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the railway industry is an asset.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Quality Knowledge: Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, etc.) and quality tools is an asset.
