Job Overview:

Position Summary

This role focuses on the examination of premium air shipments submitted to UPS. The individual in this position is tasked with verifying the precision of data within the UPS database and implementing necessary adjustments. Additionally, they ensure that all shipments adhere to both export and import regulations. It is important to note that this role operates within a warehouse setting, requiring comfort with standing and managing packages as needed. Responsibilities include shifting, sliding, and relocating packages from a conveyor system to designated workstations, and subsequently returning shipments to the conveyance system.

Job Type: Part-Time - Permanent

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (availability required for all days)

Shift Timing: 5:30 PM - 10:30 PM, with an average of 3-5 hours per day; start and end times may vary based on operational requirements. Flexibility is essential.

Compensation: $17.30/hr.

** CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UP TO 25 HOURS PER WEEK**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. without assistance
  • Precisely input data into UPS systems within designated timeframes
  • Review and forward necessary legal documentation
  • Utilize mobile technology to capture and modify JPEG files
  • Provide administrative assistance to the management team

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Typing proficiency of 40+ words per minute
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to work flexible shift hours
