Job Summary

This position plays a key role in developing and implementing strategic plans for the facility they are assigned. The Automation Process Specialist supports and enhances the sortation, methods, and measurement for the automated sites they supervise. This position assists to develop and manage corporate, region, and district level peak season and other special operating plan volume guidance to provide accurate planning for staffing, equipment planning, and capacity needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees automation upgrades and deployment to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Supervises, improves, and communicates forecast development process to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Prepares and monitors planning results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assesses impacts of new services, software, and methods on operations to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Supervises issues, enhancements, and requests for sortation to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitors site's operating performance to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Investigates facility automation feasibility to identify potential opportunities for growth and expansion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of CB Canada processes, procedures, and methods to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Work Environment

Work hours: Start time between 3:45am and 4:15 until 1 pm (start and finish times may vary depending on work volume). Job type: Full time, Permanent, Salaried.
