Position Overview:

The role of Payroll Implementation Lead is pivotal in steering the Employee Central Payroll project as part of a broader initiative involving SuccessFactors Employee Central core HR, payroll, and Talent management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the implementation of Employee Central Payroll within a 12-month timeline.
  • Organize and lead workshops for requirements gathering.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to define and confirm business needs.
  • Partner with the SAP implementation team to align the Employee Central platform with Payroll processing requirements.
  • Regularly engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Support integration with related Employee Central workstreams, including Core HR, Onboarding, Benefits, Talent, and Compensation.
  • Coordinate with the Reporting workstream lead to ensure all Payroll-related reports function correctly with the new system.
  • Work alongside the Testing Lead to develop the overall testing strategy and manage the Payroll module's design and testing.
  • Identify potential risks to the workstream and the overall project.
  • Promote and implement Best Practices in platform and process configuration.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Employee Central Payroll implementations.
  • Background in Payroll systems implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Experience with large-scale business process transformations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including:
    • Task prioritization and delegation.
    • Encouraging innovative thinking.
    • Leading change initiatives.
    • Exemplifying strong leadership and organizational behaviors.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to build trust with stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Effective stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working independently.
  • Familiarity with relevant Collective Agreements is advantageous.
